RealPlayer 8.0

[ ]To enter into the world of audio and live broadcasts, you must first download the FREE RealPlayer from the RealNetworks website. Because your web browser, , does not know how to deal with audio it passes that information on to the RealPlayer software that you must install and it plays the sound for the web browser.

[ ]After you click the icon below for your operating system you will begin downloading the appropriate software. Here is where it gets interesting, if you have MS Internet Explorer it will ask you if you want to Save it to a File or Run It. Choose Run It and it will make things MUCH simpler for you later. If you are running Netscape or something else your exact steps may vary a little and we have included further instructions below.

[ ]When you click on the link to download the software, make a note of where you put the file on your system... you will need that information later during the installation process. Here are some basic instructions on the best place to save it, the description may not exactly match your system, but it should be close.

This includes Mac OS 8.1 and above for the 604 or Power PC processors.

[RealOne Player Download]RealNetworks distributes two versions of the RealPlayer one that is a free download called the RealPlayer Basic (what is above) and an enhanced functioning version called the RealOne Player. This version includes an updated interface, more content and enhanced features but it costs additional money... about $9.95 per month.
